Description
Leaked information reported by the French site Actugaming in 2020 listed the game as a remaster titled Diablo 2 Resurrected being developed with the support of Vicarious Visions that had a planned release of Q4 2020 but delayed due to the pandemic. The site's source also said the Vicarious Visions had been helping on the project since the release of Crash Bandicoot N.sane Trilogy. Activision Blizzard's recent move to make the studio a direct subsidiary studio of Blizzard Entertainment, to support their projects, along with Blizzard's quote of "After collaborating with Vicarious Visions for some time…" has reinforced the current rumours around the game.
